Rasheda “B” Figgs was born and raised in the East Bay Area. She has 15 years of customer service experience, and 10 years in the fashion industry. She has been in the wedding industry for over 7 years. Her career in the wedding industry, started as a bridal gown consultant working in many bridal shops in the bay area to eventually becoming an assistant to a bridal gown designer, in San Francisco. Working bridal fashion shows, trunk shows allowed her to experience many cultures, lifestyles and traditions from brides and vendor throughout the bay area. She is a certified wedding and event planner through Lovegivity’s Wedding Planning Institute via City College of San Francisco. She also has an Associate’s degree in Social and Behavior Science from Contra Costa College in San Pablo, CA and currently studying for her Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Hospitality & Tourism with a minor in business management from California State University- East Bay. Rasheda has always known that she wanted to be a wedding and event planner. She has planned many events for friends and family over the course of 10 Years.
